As an Olympic athlete, accurate vision is imperative. At the age of 17, I suffered a broken neck leaving me partially paralyzed in all four limbs. In college, my life changed when I discovered the sport Quad Rugby, also known as "Murderball." I have played for the US Olympic team for the last 10 years and am currently on the roster for 2008's Olympics in Beijing, China. I've worn glasses since I was 13, and on the rugby court I can't wear them. Due to my injury, I don't have any finger dexterity, so I am unable to wear contacts. I've been considering LASIK to improve my game and help me bring home the GOLD medal from the 2008 Olympic Games.
