I didn't really get a chance to thank you and your staff in regards to my recent lasik procedure. I have to admit, I wasn't really nervous about the procedure until I arrived at the office, then the butterflies kicked in. But I feel that everyone made the effort, from the reception office to the operating room, to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Now I'm enjoying my new eyes and so glad to be rid of the glasses and contacts.

You have a real good group of folks there and I just wanted to relay my appreciation. Thanks again and keep up the awesome work!!

All my interactions with the staff were positive. They were all very competent and helpful. The surgery was a complete success and much less scary than I had imagined. Everyone did their best to make sure I was relaxed and comfortable.

I am so pleased with my eyes that I have shared my experience with almost everyone at the Oakhill Activity Center who is thinking of having LASIK Surgery. You guys are so awesome!!

I still can’t believe how fast I was in and out. The consultation with your staff was very informative and very explanatory. I saw the video at Motorola during a wellness luncheon and made my mind up. This is what I wanted done with my eyes.

The staff was very patient with helping me make my appointment, not too pushy and I didn’t feel pressured on getting in. It was wonderful how you worked with my schedule to get me in. Thanks a bunch!! You made me feel confident that things would go well, and they did!!

I was a nervous wreck, but you did wonders consoling me. I was comfortable and at ease when it was time to get on the table to have my eyes worked on. I love not having to wear glasses when I drive, watch television, or go out for an evening. I do miss the near vision I gave up to get far vision—but all in all its OK. I know it will be a good thing when I start swimming again this summer. I’m not sure how convenient “readers” will be if I go back to work. They’re fine at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your eye center for LASIK surgery.

I feel no regret in having this kind of surgery done. It has been two months now and my eyes seem to have no recollection of this surgery. The staff helped me a lot in making my decision to have this complicated procedure which I didn’t know much about before coming to you with my questions. I liked that the staff didn’t impose and their answers to my questions came across clear and not like salespeople. I normally don’t feel comfortable having surgery of any kind and constantly question its necessity, but this is a great example of the gift technology can offer us. I am happy to have the peripheral vision and eye contact in communication that I hoped to get from this procedure.

The whole procedure was quick, easy, and painless. The Howerton Eye Clinic staff is great, with each and every one of them being helpful and friendly.

My procedure was done around three weeks ago and I have been very pleased with the results. In fact, I am a little more in amazement every day when I think, “Hey, my vision is pretty good but this must be as good as it gets.” Then the next day, I notice it’s even a little better. I have been a slave to corrective glasses and contact lenses for 34 years! My dream about laser correction became an option for me—and it was just what I wished for and wanted so badly! My cousin-in-law, a famous eye surgeon, Dr. John Cowden, told me in the ‘70s to wait, that a better procedure was being tested. That procedure was LASIK.

I have not fully formed an opinion on the actual vision correction since my vision is still fluctuating at this point. However, I am already very pleased that for distance activities (driving, etc.), I am out of glasses! As for the experience at Howerton Eye Clinic, it has been overwhelmingly positive! My only regret is that it didn’t have the surgery sooner! One week later, I am still in awe of how little time is required for the procedure and the immediate results. In less than 24 hours following the surgery, I drove 10 miles to work at 6 a.m. without any complications. Absolutely no pain!

The staff is superb—the customer service, care, and concern is second to none. If I sound happy, elated, satisfied, thrilled—it’s all true!

I had LASIK in January 2001. I followed all pre-op and post-op instructions. I had no complications or discomfort. The surgery itself is a piece of cake—there’s absolutely nothing to fear! I mean nothing! It takes a total of 10 minutes, and all you do is focus on a light! Immediately after surgery I could see that the recessed flood lamps in the ceiling had printing on them. Before surgery, my sight was considered legally blind! After the prescribed nap the day of surgery, I spent the rest of the day working on my computer and reading!
