"What a LIFE CHANGING experience!!!" I have heard so many people say those exact words at their LASIK post-op visits. My office is next door to our LASIK procedure room and it is wonderful to see each person walk out of just having the procedure and saying to their family members "I can see you!" I know some people are nervous about the procedure or think it is too costly, but in reality, it is a very safe procedure. The important things are recovery period and the post-op visits. Most important is to rest, rest, rest, immediately after the procedure...Keep your eyes closed and relaxed that evening and the next day come in for your first post-op to visit the Doc.
